Balance

We must learn to balance these 2 texts in our lives.
1 Corinthians 9:22 & James 4:4

1 Cor 9:22 – To the weak I became weak, that I might win the weak. I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some.

James 4:4 – You adulterous people! Do you not know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? Therefore whoever wishes to be a friend of the world makes himself an enemy of God.

1 Cor 9:22 tells us to become all things to all people so that we can save some.  James 4:4 warns us not to be friends with the world.  So, there must be a way to be friends with the world and save some without it being sin.

This is the balance we need to find.  We live in the world and must be a part of it.  We must strive to see those we know come to Christ without engaging in the sin the world is trying to entice us with.

Find the balance, and seek and save the lost.
